Formulated as wax-like, semi-solid adhesives packaged in a self-feeding stick applicator, LOCTITE 511535 Red Threadlocker Sticks provide robust cure even on oil-contaminated or inactive metals like stainless steel. Invented by Henkel as a revolutionary method to positively lock and seal threaded fasteners, Loctite Threadlocker adhesives are used in a wide range of applications from delicate fuel injection components to heavy-duty transmission and engine assemblies. Specified by automotive OEM's and approved for use on factory assembly lines, threadlockers work by filling the spaces between threads. The result is a secure, one-piece assembly that will not loosen under stress. These convenient and portable products will not leak or drip when carried in a pocket, stored in a toolbox or used in an overhead application. The sticks are designed and as easy to use as Henkel's well-known Pritt Sticks for consumers. Loctite 511535 High Strength Red Threadlocker Stick is applied to a threaded fastener and can be disassembled using applied heat and hand tools. This anaerobic adhesive is great for automotive and other applications where resistance to heavy shock, vibration and stress levels is required; such as air tools, cylinder block bolts, ring gear bolts, transmission shaft bolts & more. The product works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It is proven to be tolerant of minor contamination due to industrial oils, e.g., motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids. With the same convenient packaging as the medium strength LOCTITE Blue Stick Threadlocker, this high strength threadlocker is better suited for heavy-duty applications where resistance to heavy shock, vibration and stress levels is required. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate parts.
