Just turn the dial to your preferred spray pattern to experience spray paint with ultimate control. When you’re done, turn the dial to the lock position to store the remaining spray paint for your next project.

A: Consider what you’re going to paint and which dial position makes the most sense for it. Before you get started, you may want to test each option on a practice surface to find your favorite.

The Custom Spray 5-in-1 dial offers five spray patterns:

1. High Output: Great for large, rounded surfaces.
2. Standard: The traditional spray paint experience.
3. Low Output: Ideal for touchups or painting detailed nooks and crannies; helps prevent overspray and runs, drips or sags.
4. Vertical Fan: Use on long, flat surfaces that you’re painting side to side.
