Wilwood Engineering headquarters and manufacturing facility

Wilwood

Pop the wheel off a project car, a drift build, or a race truck and there's a solid chance a Wilwood caliper is staring back at you — the company's disc brake kits are a fixture from grassroots track days up through professional racing. That same engineering focus carries over into its DOT 3 and DOT 4 racing brake fluids, built to resist fade under the kind of repeated hard braking a caliper upgrade is meant to handle.

Wilwood Engineering was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California, where it still designs and manufactures today. The company earned an early reputation for engineering under pressure, supplying brake systems for military Humvees, and has held ISO 9000 certification as its manufacturing scaled — a level of process control that's less common among racing-parts makers than the badge on the box might suggest.

Wilwood's dealer network is set up around full brake system sales — calipers, rotors, master cylinders — which isn't really built for a shop or team that just needs fluid restocked between events. Bulk55's case model fills that gap, keeping Wilwood fluid on hand in bulk so teams can reorder on their own schedule instead of working it into a larger parts order.

We stock Wilwood racing brake fluid in case quantities, including the Hi-Temp 570 (Case of 24, 12 oz. bottles) and the EXP 600 Plus (20 × 0.5L bottles). Browse the full Wilwood lineup here.
