BlueDEF Platinum - What it is

BlueDEF Platinum is a premium version of BlueDEF, designed to meet the demands of modern diesel engines, particularly those with advanced emission systems. It is a high-quality diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) that works with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. BlueDEF Platinum offers enhanced performance and protection for SCR systems, helping to improve the efficiency of the emissions-reduction process while also extending the lifespan of the engine’s components. This product is formulated to provide superior protection against deposits and buildup, ensuring that your diesel engine operates cleanly and efficiently. It is a higher-grade fluid compared to standard BlueDEF, with added benefits for vehicles and equipment that require optimal DEF performance.

The Differences

BlueDef Platinum is made from the same base formula as standard BlueDef - 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water, but with helpful additives. It includes an corrosive inhibitor to protect the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system of your vehicles from damage over time and reduce maintenance cost. Additionally it also gives better performance in a wider temperature range. Where standard BlueDef performs well in a temperature range from 12°F and 86°F (-11°C to 30°C) BlueDef Platinum increases this to -20°F to 122°F (-29°C to 50°C).

Size availability

Like standard BlueDef we offer the Platinum version in the flexible and easy to transport 2.5 gallon jugs (half or full pallet), a bigger 55 gallon drum to have ample stored for your mid-sized fleet or the most cost effective 330 gallon tote for your bigger operation.
