Why use VP 50:1 Small Engine Fuel instead of Pump Gas?

As these small engines run hotter, they demand better care and maintenance and a common misconception is that regular pump gas is good enough. The issue with that is that pump gas contains ethanol. And while ethanol sits in the gas tank it absorbs water. With the water comes corrosion and that eats away the vital components in your equipment. And to make matters worse, ethanol can also damage rubber and plastic components in the fuel system. Pump gas also degrades fast and forms gums which causes the equipment to operate less efficiently or even fail.
