Lacquer produces a durable, high luster coating with faster cure and hardening time than regular paint.

How long does Rust-Oleum lacquer take to cure?

Dry and recoat times are based on 70°F and 50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to touch in 20 minutes, to handle in 1 hour, fully dry in 24 hours. Apply a second coat any time.

How long after spray paint can you lacquer?

Ideally, lacquer should be applied over the base color just as the base color has begun to flash off.
