4 Count STEEL-IT High Temp Coating Steel Gray Gallon Cans
Specifications:
4 Count Multipack
STEEL-IT® High Temp Coating Gallon Cans - Steel Gray
STEEL-IT 5904 High Temp & Corrosion-Resistant is a single-component pigmented silicone finish containing 316L stainless steel. It is specifically designed for high temperature applications where surface temperatures exceed 400°F (204°C). It can withstand constant temperatures up to 1,000°F (537°C) with spikes reaching 1,200°F (649°C). This self-priming coating bonds directly with bare steel at high temperatures. Proper surface preparation is crucial, and the coating should be subjected to a 60-minute bake cycle at 400°F (204°C) for optimal curing, hardness, and durability. If the object coated reaches 400°F (204°C) for at least 1 hour while in use, the coating can be cured during operation.
- Can withstand constant temperatures of 1,000°F (537.8°C) with spikes to 1,200°F (649°C)
- Requires baking at 400°F (204.4°C) for 60 minutes to cure
- Superior anticorrosion coating
- Weldable! – No need to grind off the coating when repairs or add-ons are required
- Withstands high-pressure washdowns without chipping or flaking
