Loctite Thread Sealant 545 is formula is designed for leakproof, vibration-resistant connections in demanding pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Ideal Applications for Loctite 545 include: Pneumatic and hydraulic systems, Air compressors and tools, Pumps and valves, Oil and coolant lines, Fuel fittings. Prevents leaks, downtime, and unreliable connections. Application tips to consider: Clean and dry threads thoroughly before applying the sealant. Apply a thin, even bead of sealant to male threads. Assemble parts and hand tighten. Allow the sealant to cure fully before applying pressure (typically 24 hours).
