AutoTrans G-3 is an automatic transmission fluid (ATF) that meets on-highway performance requirements for Dexron ® III H, Allison Type C-4 and Ford Mercon ®. It offers excellent corrosion resistance to all types of metals used in transmissions and hydraulic systems, plus provides superior friction retention and thermal and oxidation stability. AutoTrans G-3â„¢ can be used in a broad variety of multi-vehicle applications found in on- and off-highway service as well as marine and industrial applications.
- Formulated to be compatible with the metallurgy used in most modern transmissions and high-pressure hydraulic systems
- Friction modifiers control lock-up rates of clutch packs for proper transmission shifting characteristics and efficient power transfer
- Provides excellent anti-wear protection for hydraulic pumps and power steering systems and special detergent/dispersant additives limit formation of sludge and varnish deposits which interfere with proper transmission operation
- Multi-grade for optimum performance during cold starts and high temperature operations
