Loctite® RTV 5699 Gray is a high-performance silicone gasket maker formulated for rigid flanges and high-temperature environments. It forms flexible, oil-resistant gaskets in place, sealing against leaks and resisting cracking, shrinking, and migration.
You can use Loctite 5699 as a direct replacement for Permatex Ultra Grey (P/N 82194). Loctite 5699 uses an oxime-cure silicone formula that remains more flexible after cure, making it the better choice for joints subject to vibration, thermal cycling, and stamped metal surfaces.
