LOCTITE 640 is a high-temperature anaerobic adhesive that secures slip and press fit assemblies. Adds up to 3,000 psi holding power. Restores fit to worn or out-of-tolerance assemblies. Prevents surface corrosion. Works to 400 °F (204 °C).
- High strength, methacrylate ester-based retaining compound
- Slow curing compound ideal for parts requiring a longer positioning time
- Ideal for large diameter components and active metals such as brass
- Fixturing time on steel is 2 hours
- Maximum diametrical clearance is 0.1mm
