How long does wallpaper adhesive take to dry?

Wallpaper paste usually dries in 24-48 hours. However, it can depend on the condition of the room. Once the wallpaper has been hung, it can take up to two weeks before the paste is completely dry and set, so it is best to leave your wallpaper for as long as possible before adding any borders.

How to activate wallpaper glue?

Completely submerge the rolled wallpaper in water (ideally in a wallpaper tray) for 10 to 15 seconds to activate the adhesive. Remove the roll by slowly pulling the leading edge out of the tray, glue-side up.
