Loctite Threadlocker 242 is designed for the locking and sealing of all those threaded screws and fasteners which you need to stay tight! The product has excellent creeping properties, which fully penetrates all the tight thread grooves, and produces a quick hard bond within 10 minutes. It protects threads from rust and corrosion and has excellent shock and vibration protection. Loctite Threadlocker 242 is well suited for applications on most all metal surfaces, including stainless steel and plated surfaces. Conveniently packaged for single use.
