Safetec of America was founded in 1992 in Buffalo, New York, launched to meet infection-control needs during the AIDS epidemic with its flagship Red Z spill solidifier. More than 30 years later, the company still designs, tests, and manufactures everything in-house across three Buffalo facilities, under FDA regulation and UL GMP certification, entirely in the U.S.
