AUMOVIO, the independent company formed from Continental's 2025 automotive division spin-off and now the parent organization of the ATE brake brand, announced it will make its first standalone appearance at Automechanika Frankfurt (September 9–13, 2026). The centerpiece of that debut is the ATE MK 100, described as ATE's first complete ABS/ESP brake control system designed specifically for the independent aftermarket. The show also marks the first time the ATE and VDO brands will be shown together under the AUMOVIO name.

For shops and fleet buyers, the corporate context matters more than the trade show itself. AUMOVIO's push into the independent aftermarket channel is a deliberate strategic signal: the ATE product range, including brake fluids like ATE TYP 200 and ATE SecuBrake, is being actively supported and expanded under the new ownership structure rather than wound down. That reduces one of the core risks in stocking a brand that recently changed hands: the question of whether the line gets discontinued or deprioritized post-spin-off.
