Castrol
Castrol is one of the most recognized names in lubricants worldwide, spanning everything from Castrol EDGE motor oil on the retail shelf to the TranSynd and SRF formulas that fleets, transmission shops, and racing teams rely on for jobs regular oil can't handle. The common thread across the range is a habit of engineering past standard temperature and pressure limits rather than just meeting them.
That habit goes back to 1899, when Charles “Cheers” Wakefield left Vacuum Oil to start his own lubricants business, C.C. Wakefield & Company. The Castrol name itself came from the lab — a measure of castor oil helped early motor oils hold up across extreme temperature swings — and it stuck well enough that the company became Castrol Ltd. in 1960. Burmah Oil acquired it in 1966, BP in 2000, and Castrol marked its 125th anniversary in 2024.
Castrol's catalog covers consumer motor oil, industrial and fleet lubricants, and specialty racing fluid — a wide spread of SKUs and pack sizes that's exactly the kind of catalog Bulk55's bulk distribution model is built to move. We carry Castrol's range so fleets, shops, and industrial buyers can order case and pail quantities directly, without every location needing its own account with Castrol.
We stock Castrol in bulk, including the TranSynd 668 Allison TES automatic transmission fluid and SRF racing brake fluid. Browse the full Castrol collection here.
